Intersecting the principle trail are over 5 miles of groomed, single-track trails good for strolling, running, and mountain-biking. For professional and organizational retreats, educational and coaching needs can be met on the Conference Center. Located in a secluded area at the southwest portion of Letchworth State Park, the facility consists of a spacious nation lodge room, bedrooms, loos with showers and a kitchen. This unique historic construction is designed to accommodate the wants of low impact professional and organizational teams for training, training and retreat functions. It may be rented for the day and/or in a single day use.

Hundreds of fowl species stay right here, as do 8 types of endangered animals and seventy five sorts of timber. Highlights embody Spruce Knob (the state’s highest peak at four,863 feet), rustic camping, picnicking, and backpacking. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, swimming is available at Pendleton Lake.
