Bluehole Falls, which is a short hike from the park museum, plunges into an impressive blue pool and stands at almost 30 ft in top. Big Falls, the biggest of the falls at Old Stone Fort, is the most iconic falls on the property standing at over 30 ft in height. The area that is now Blackwater Falls State Park has been a popular destination for adventurers for the reason that 1800s. In 1955, the state started including cabins, a lodge and fishing amenities. Open mid-December via February, the sled run is the epitome of family-friendly enjoyable.
