In the middle of the park, if you get the prospect to camp for the evening, spend a while out underneath the stars. Here you’ll have the prospect to see wildlife, mountain views, and some rustic cabins with immense historic value. Downtown Asheville is a great place to wander, with active road musicians, little boutiques, tasty dessert shops, and nationally famend farm-to-table restaurants.

It was based by miners from Sonora in Mexico, back in 1848, and was a gold rush town known as “Queen of the Southern Mines” in its heyday. Now it offers small city charm, a historic downtown space, and plenty of entertainment choices. They’re a cluster of forests, beaches, and prairies that stretch down 30 miles of the northern California coast. They’re made up of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, and Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park. The main centerpiece here are the 129ft waterfalls that start as underground springs that feed into Burney Creek, and cascade over the rocks and eventually circulate into Lake Britton. Spend a while at Lake Britton swimming (if you presumably can handle 42°F water), or explore it from the heat of a boat or kayak.
