Both are mainly proper off the street, although Artist Point does require a brief climb to get to the perspective. Neither of us had ever been, though we had visited the North Cascades, and a few of our favourite hikes in Washington were on the north side of Mount Baker. Paradise has the best choice of locations to stay, by far, of any components of the park.
