South Mountains State Park

Nolin Lake State Park is an excellent place to camp and fish. The park has 32 campsites with hookups for water and electrical energy, along with 27 primitive campsites. There is a public beach, bathe and laundry services, a playground, and the lake has an abundance of bass, catfish, crappie, and walleye. The Black Creek Trail is a 1.7-mile crushed stone path with stunning surroundings along the Black Creek Gorge as it works its way down from Noccalula Falls campground to Black Creek Road. The trail begins at Noccalula Falls Wedding Chapel.

Blackwater Falls State Park

At times, the Columbia River was forced to flow through what is now the Grand Coulee. The park has 96 commonplace campsites, forty one full-hookup sites, one dump station, six restrooms and 12 showers. Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park is a three,774-acre tenting park with 73,640 toes of freshwater shoreline at the foot of Dry Falls between Soap Lake and Coulee City.
